Privacy notice for businesses we email

Last updated 26 September 2026

Rewaaj emails food and beverage businesses to introduce the platform. This notice is for the people who receive those emails: where we got your business contact details, what we do with them, and how to make us stop.

1. Who we are

Rewaaj is operated by TOKENIZ-ED L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide how your details are used, which makes us their controller. You can reach us at:

TOKENIZ-ED L.L.C-FZ
Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

2. Where we got your details

  • Trade-show exhibitor lists. Food trade shows publish the companies exhibiting and their business contact details so that buyers can reach them. Our directory includes exhibitors listed by SIAL Paris 2024, SIAL China 2025, Anuga Select Brazil 2025, FOODEX Japan 2026, ISM Cologne 2026 and the Sweets & Snacks Expo 2026. When your details came from one of these lists, our email names the show.
  • Our own business contacts. Some details come from Rewaaj’s own list of business contacts in the food trade, dated February 2026. If you want to know how your details came to be on it, ask us and we will tell you.

Before we email an address, we check that it can still receive mail. The check asks the receiving mail server whether the mailbox exists; no email is sent to you.

3. What we hold

  • Your company’s name, the business email address we write to, and your country.
  • Where it came from: the trade show and year and, where we have it, the web page that listed you; or our contacts list.
  • A record of the emails we send you: whether each was delivered and opened, whether a link in it was clicked, and any reply you send.
  • Your request to stop, if you make one.

4. Why we use them, and on what legal basis

We use your details to introduce Rewaaj and invite your company to list its products, and to make sure we never write again to anyone who has asked us to stop.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in telling food businesses about a service built for them (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU and UK GDPR, and the equivalent provisions of other data-protection laws that apply to you). We weighed that interest against yours: we use business contact details only, published or shared for business purposes, and you can stop our emails at any time with one click.

We do not sell your details. We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Who else sees them

Only our team, and the service providers that run parts of our service on our instructions and under contract:

  • Email delivery, and the service that passes your replies to us: Twilio SendGrid (United States).
  • The mailboxes that receive your replies and privacy requests: Google Workspace (United States).
  • Our database: Neon (United Kingdom, London). Our application: Render (Germany, Frankfurt), reached through Cloudflare’s global network.
  • Address checks: our own checking server, hosted by Contabo (Germany). Two earlier lists were also checked by ZeroBounce (United States) and by Google’s Gemini AI service (United States).

We share your details with no one else, unless the law requires us to.

6. Transfers outside your country

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our providers are in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, so your details may be processed outside the country where they were collected. Our providers handle them under data-processing terms that include standard contractual clauses where the law requires them.

7. How long we keep them

We keep your details while we may still have a reason to contact your company, and no longer than three years after our last email to you. Replies you send us are kept as business correspondence for up to five years.

If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep a record of your request for good, so that we never write to you again. To have the rest of your details deleted as well, ask us.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you can:

  • ask for a copy of the details we hold about you;
  • have them corrected, or deleted;
  • ask us to restrict how we use them;
  • object to our use of them, and to direct marketing in particular, which we always honour;
  • complain to a data-protection authority: in the EU or UK, the authority where you live or work; in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Data Office.

To stop our emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them. For anything else, write to info@rewaaj.com. We reply within 30 days, and may first ask you to confirm the request comes from the owner of the address.

9. Changes to this notice

If the way we handle your details changes, we will update this notice; the date at the top shows the current version. For how we handle the details of people who use the platform itself, see our privacy policy.
